Hosted in partnership with Euclid Public Library, as we consider a restorative justice (RJ) pilot program for our community. Join us for an evening with a restorative justice expert who will explain how RJ practices have created healing and safety in other communities.
Restorative justice is a way to respond to harm by repairing it, instead of punishing it. The person who caused harm takes responsibility and works to make things right. The people affected get a voice in what that repair looks like. Many communities now use this approach instead of, or alongside, traditional court processes, especially for smaller offenses.
