Vision & Action Focus Areas
These focus areas were identified during a series of resident-led community listening sessions held November - May 2025. The resident goals and next steps are outlined in Reducing Gun Violence by Taking Action Locally Visioning & Action Report, completed in partnership with Community Innovation Network of Case Western Reserve University, funded by the Cuyahoga County, City of Euclid, Euclid City Schools and Euclid Public Library.

Many people are worried about the safety of kids in Euclid. They want to make sure young people are not exposed to violence and are safe in their community.

Residents believe that building strong connections with each other and working together to solve problems is key to making Euclid safer. They want everyone to feel like they are part of the community and can help find solutions.
Social & Economic Root Causes

Issues like poverty, lack of resources, and mental health problems are seen as reasons behind the violence. People think that fixing these problems will help reduce violence in the long run.
