EUCLID NEIGHBOR NIGHTS

Community Nights are a different kind of community gathering. Like any proper neighborhood gathering, a light home-cooked meal will be provided. First, we quickly check in with “good and new” updates. Then, we work together to set an agenda through “Business of the Network” small-group conversations based on questions that someone from the group wants to explore. It's a time to ask for the wisdom of your neighbors and to find out who shares your interests and concerns. During our initial meeting, groups discussed “How do we talk about race in Euclid?” and “How do we keep kids safe?”

Anyone can start a conversation and anyone can offer to follow up on the ideas that come up. Once the Business of the Network is complete, we finish with a practice called The Marketplace, where we each get a chance to share with our neighbors to ask for what we need and to offer what we have. You can participate as much or as little as you like, but there’s a good chance you’ll leave a Euclid Community Night gathering feeling hopeful, inspired, and energized.
